Benefits of IUTF Membership:

1. The IUTF (which is part of ITF Ireland) is the National Amalgamated Organisation (NAO) for the International Taekwon Do Federation (ITF) in Ireland. ITF headquarters are based in Toronto Canada under the Presidency of Master Choi Jung Hwa.
2. The IUTF is the only Irish Taekwon Do association that offers annual Munster, Leinster, Connaught, Universities and National Championships.
3. The IUTF organises numerous smaller competitions continuously including technical championships and team sparring events.
4. The IUTF national teams travel to international competitions at least five times each year. These trips are subsidised by up to 80% by the national association.
5. The IUTF runs three seminars every year with international instructors from abroad (these seminars are subsidised and generally never cost more than 10 to 15 Euro). It also holds an annual summer camp.
6. The IUTF holds annual certified instructor, referee and first aid courses.
7. The IUTF sends a group of instructors abroad each year for a 7 day training course (3rd Dan and above). The last trips have been to Germany, Turkey and Tunisia.
8. The IUTF holds weekly squad sessions in various venues around the country.
9. The IUTF offers a professional back up for all members and instructors (four of the five Executive Committee are full time instructors)
10. The IUTF also has a number of Standing Committees, which advise and carry out tasks on behalf of the Executive Committee. These include:
(a) Child Protection and Medical Committee. (b) Internet/Technical Committee (c) Expansion Committee (d) Sponsorship/Promotion Committee (e) College/University Committee.
